This repo is a build sdk for Assimp to be used with the Zig build system:

zig-assimp's Issues

Blend importer doesn't build

Building with the Blend format enabled causes link errors about missing symbols in the Assimp::Compression namespace. Probably just a missing source file

README is out of date

Looks like it's not been updated since the package manager released :)

glTF2 format isn't registered properly

Enabling the glTF2 format doesn't seem to work properly. aiGetExtensionList doesn't show *.gltf or *.glb, both of which should be present.

glTF importer doesn't build

Building with the glTF format enabled causes C++ error spew about no matching constructor for initialization of 'Value' (aka 'GenericValue<UTF8<>>')
