This project is about creating a simplified graphic “wireframe” (“fils de fer” in french, hence the name of the project) representation of a relief landscape linking various points (x, y, z) via segments. The coordinates of this landscape are stored in a file passed as a parameter to your program.

Fillit is a project that let you discover and/or familiarize yourself with a recurring problematic in programming: searching the optimal solution among a huge set of possibilities, in a respectable timing. In this particular project, I had to find a way to assemble a given Tetriminos set altogether in the smallest possible square. A Tetrimino is a 4-blocks geometric figure you probably already heard of, thanks to the popular game Tetris.
In this project I recoded a light version of the command “ls”.

This first network project at Hive Helsinki, gave me the opportunity to discover basic system and network commands, many of the services used on a server machine, as well as a few ideas of scripts that can be useful for SysAdmins on a daily basis.
