Hello! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm Jacob, or codist as I'm known online. I am a English programmer located in Canada. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

I like to create random projects or games just for the fun of it, even if they aren't particularly useful.
If you would like to chat with me about anything, I have a Twitter where we can do so.

quick-menu's Issues

Editable item, draggable item, deletion warning

Hey!
I've just started using this mod and it's really useful.
There are a few things that could be improved, such as being able to modify actions and change the order of items in the menu. I was surprised by the right-click on an action to delete it directly, maybe a confirmation to avoid doing it unintentionally?

Using modded items as the icon doesn't include the namespace, leading to invalid icons on reload

I noticed that when using modded items as the icon for an action, restarting the game causes the icon appear blank. Looking at the config, it seems to not namespace the item with the mod it is from. This is causing it to try and search for an item with that ID in the minecraft namespace when the config is loaded again, resulting in the blank icon. Adding the namespace manually to the icon's item in the config file fixes it. Happens on the latest version.

AmecsAPI support

I have noticed that the window in which you assign keybinds for a specific actions dosen't support keybinds with modifiers
eg: pressing <Ctrl+N> leaves the assigned key to N
It would be super nice if you could maybe take a look at amecs-api to possibly change the way assigning keybinds is handled
Lovely QoL mod, can't wait for the groups update

You can't assing Modifier shortcuts in this window

With amecs installed however, the above works

Crash: Seemingly incompbatible with Sodium Extras

After spending way too long identifying which mod was causing a crash upon attempting to open the editing UI it seems that something goes wrong when the following mods are installed

  • Fabric API
  • Sodium
  • Sodium Extra
  • oฯ‰o
  • Yours, AKA Quick Menu
Unless I wrongly identified a crash, or something totally diffrent is going on.
    here is the full log

New Button Type - Categorie

This is a feature request.
I would love to have the option, to choose from different button types.
The current functionality of the buttons is Command only.

I would love to have the another type of button available.
A Category Button, which allows me to store related actions/commands in an own category.
This would make it alot easier to organize commands.

[Suggestion] Radial Menu Layout

Being able to lay out action buttons on a radial menu would make them much easier to use with muscle memory because you don't have to be so precise with your clicks (I personally have been struggling a bit with that). It'd also be very satisfying to use.

[suggestion] make the keybind hold and not toggle

would be cool to have an option so that instead of having to press the key twice to both open and close it, once you let go the menu closes and whatever the cursor is on gets activated, similiar to how the gamemode switcher works
