Please note this library and Zombies External Universal Settings Mod Centre for Operations and Resource Execution are not using the same license. Github Desktop is changing my files

It is crucial that github not edit my files in any way, shape or form. When my files are uploaded however, I can already tell the information was preserved however it was moved to a new text file which may or may not be the same format, I'm still testing that. Surprisingly there is no obvious way to check that in my OS. All line breaks were removed, or changed. Notepad won't recognize them as line breaks anymore but Notepad++ will. The line break issue is bad enough, but the format must not change. This is just a library for another project I'm about to push and in that project there are files with characters that won't be recognized properly unless the files are the proper format, and it's not like I can just pick a format either, it's a mixmash of formats. Mostly ANSI but some are UTF-8. All I want is to upload my files as-is, without regard to any conversions github may want to make things more pretty on their website. Nothing can change, all hashes identical and all that good stuff. At this point all I can do to solve this is zip the files before pushing, and if that's my only option I may as well use mediafire, it defeats the purpose of this website.
