Alarm Clock

By using the main thread for a Remind-task, you don't have to create a forever waiting WaitGroup.

Your code:

func Remind(text string, delay time.Duration) {
	for {/*...*/}
}

func main() {
	var wg sync.WaitGroup
	wg.Add(3)
	go func() {
		Remind("time to eat", 10*time.Second)
		wg.Done()
	}()
	go func() {
		Remind("time to work", 30*time.Second)
		wg.Done()
	}()
	go func() {
		Remind("time to sleep", 60*time.Second)
		wg.Done()
	}()

	wg.Wait()
}

With three threads:

func Remind(text string, delay time.Duration) {
	for {/*...*/}
}

func main() {
	go Remind("time to eat", 10*time.Second)
	go Remind("time to work", 30*time.Second)
	Remind("time to sleep", 60*time.Second)
}
