wsa-systemcontrol's Introduction

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm a computer science graduate with a passion for creating software. Some of my work includes open source projects such as WSA Sideloader, the popular APK installer for Windows Subsystem for Android as well as SubManager, a subscription manager app for Apple platforms. I also contribute to other projects from time to time.

If you like my work, do consider buying me a coffee. All donations are greatly appreciated โค๏ธ

wsa-systemcontrol's Issues

Open WSA sideloader

Describe your request

I think adding an option to launch your Side-loader app, would streamline things. Having all your WSA needs right in one panel would be great!

[REQUEST] Automatic ADB commands

Describe your request

WSA doesn't save settings after rebooting which can be quite infuriating.
I have tried using Magisk startup scripts, but they seem to not execute after WSA has finished booting, even with an added sleep.

It would be a really nice feature for this to automatically detect once WSA has fully started (or just on a delay from when it detects it starting up) and automatically send commands over ADB.

This way, most settings can be re-applied on startup, and allows for much more!
An option to provide a current install of ADB would also be useful (if an automatic install were to exist)

I thought this would make the most sense for this application as it is a constant background process based around WSA :)
Personally, I would use this to adjust the dpi of my second monitor so that everything isn't so small when it's in fullscreen:
adb shell wm density 380 -d 2

(Great work btw, this is a very nice application)

Edit:
Immediately after posting, I realized that adding ADB functionality would probably help with the Restart feature from #1

[REQUEST] Disable starting of WSA when WSA-SystemControl taskbar icon is clicked/tapped

Describe your request

Hello :)

I love this tool - thank you so very much for making it! I have one issue though... the touchpad on my laptop is annoyingly over-sensitive despite my adjusting it and every time I try to close/exit WSA-SystemControl by selecting the icon from the taskbar after I've already shut it down it instantly restarts WSA again and it's super frustrating. Could this be an adjustable option somewhere, being able to set it to simply show the right-click/context menu when it is selected and WSA is stopped instead of restarting WSA every time? There is already a menu option in the context menu to "Start WSA" and I would really like if that was the only way to accomplish this. Thank you for making such a great tool!
