Order entries by start date on the time report

Time information is always shown in UTC, regardless of application settings.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the application settings page (/settings).
2. Change the time zone to anything different than UTC.
3. Submit form.
4. Go to any timesheet page that has at least one entry.

What is the problem?

The "started at"/"ended at" information are still shown in UTC.

Add time schedule for users

Make it possible to create a time schedule for users, registering the expected working hours.

Add "Notes of the day" feature

It would be nice to have a notes feature, to be able to register very quick activities that were performed while performing other major activities.

"Track" tab should be active on the time entry creation page

Can't start a timer at 00:00

Can't insert line breaks in time entry description

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the time entry creation form;
2. Add a long description, with multiple lines.

What is the problem?

The description will be shown without any line breaks, breaking the formatting intended by the user.

Time entry form doesn't indicate which fields are invalid

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the Time entry form page (/time_entries/new);
2. Don't fill in any fields, and click "Create Time entry".

What is the problem?

The app shows an error message ("Please review the problems below"), but doesn't indicate exactly which fields contain an error.

Calendar widget is partly covered by time entry timer.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the "Track Time" page;
2. Create one entry, if there are no entries on the page, or go to a day that has at least one entry.
3. Click on the calendar icon;

What is the problem?

The timer of the first time entry will be on top of the calendar widget. The widget should be on top of all other elements of the page.

Report form: incorrect indication of required fields

The start date and end date fields of the report creation form are indicated as required but these fields are optional.

Use Javascript/Ajax to manage time entries

The timesheet area should be easier and faster to use. The main gain would come from using ajax.

Add the possibility of inactivating users

Inactive users should not be able to sign in and/or change (create, update or delete) any data.

Only admins should be able to activate or deactivate users.

Ping application every hour with ajax when using heroku

As the doc below says, heroku dynos sleep after 1 hour of inactivity. It's annoying to wait about 20 seconds for the dyno to wake when using a timesheet.

A possible workaround could be an ajax request to the application at least once per hour.

Another solution would be to implement issue #6 .

Send daily summary by email for admins

Send, once a day, an email to all admins containing a summary of the tracked time by user on the previous day.

User can become admin

A user can update their account to become an admin.

Show total time tracked per day/week

Duplicate billable time entries

When the "Start" button of a completed billable time entry is clicked, a new time entry is created but its "is_billable" attribute is set to false, which is incorrect.

Time zone should be per user and not per application

Order users, tasks and projects by name rather than id

The default ordering for users, tasks and projects is currently id (first created, first shown). It would be best to order them by name.

Generate time reports with multiples of a minimum time interval

Time interval: 5 min

Time entries:
1 - 12 min
2 - 17 min
3 - 29 min
Total: 58 min

Report:
1 - 15 min
2 - 20 min
3 - 30 min
Total: 65 min

Create a README for github, including a guide to run in Heroku

Allow admins to see the timesheet of any user

There's a button in the timesheet screen that should appear only to admins:

When I click this button, I should see the list of users. When I pick one, I should be redirected to his timesheet.

Non-admins cannot use this feature. There should be an authorization verification in the controller action (in the action that renders the timesheet of another user).

Add "billable hour" functionality

Add a checkbox to the time entry creation form to mark hours as billable or not.
Also, add this filter to the report generation.

Improvements on the time entry creation form

1. Use a bigger description field by default;
2. The start time is not mandatory.

Daily digest email for members

Users that are not admins should receive a daily digest email with the timesheet with the work they did in that day.

Admins should also receive a daily email, but with a full digest of the team, which can be accomplished by showing the digest of each member. This is the scope of Issue #18.
