Wrong timezone in United Kingdom EPG

For example, from today's EPG:

This programme actually started at 13:40 +0100, not 13:40 +0000.

Question rather than issue on dual EPG

Hello,

First of all, thank you for this great EPG list. Is there a way to merge two countries' EPG into one? I'm trying to get IPTV pvr simple client to work with EPGs from two countries, but it only allows for one EPG URL. Any help would be appreciated.

I face this problem not sure is it require turkish proxy or not but can you confirm its working on your side and any option to use proxy ?

Slow download of EPG

I am using Kodi 19 along with the add-on iVue for my EPG setup. When I launch iVue for the first time of the day I have it setup to download the EPG information from https://iptv-org.github.io/epg/guides/tvtv.us.guide.xml. For some reason it is taking forever to download the information. I am talking it can easily take 3 minutes to complete the download.

Is there a way that I can edit down the number of channels that it is downloading so that it does not waste so much time downloading channels that I do not have access to? I tried the other US XML file but it does not have all of the channels I am looking for so I am stuck with the largest one. I have iVue setup to ignore the channels that I do not have access to which took me like an hour to complete.

Goal

Create a reliable source of EPG for most channels in the world.

How It Works?

Under the hood, the project uses a utility called freearhey/epg-grabber which downloads the latest program from various sources every day, processes it, and saves it in the repository.

For this utility to work, you need to pass two files into it:

• site_name.config.js - the file describes how exactly the utility should download the program guide .
• site_name.channels.xml - contains a list of all channels that are available on the site.

Files for all currently known sources are stored in the folder sites/.

More detailed instructions on working with these files can be found on the epg-grabber page.

Also, during the daily update process, a file codes.csv is created in the repository, which contains a list of all currently available channels and their unique IDs (tvg-id).

How you can help?

Search for bugs. Just try to use the program, and if you notice any bugs, post them here.

Add new source. If you know of source with a program that is not already in the repository, you can add it by sending a pull request. The only thing is to make sure that this source does not repeat existing ones.

Update channel descriptions in iptv-org/iptv. Read more about this here.

CR/LF in Windows 10 causing long read/load times

Notice that the .xml guide files are generated with very long lines, sometimes in excess of 1,5000.000 characters. This causes slow read/parsing times in Kodi with PVR Simple Client.

Perhaps could end with a hard CR/LF at for each ... block.

Would be happy to provide a consolidated .xml file if an example is needed, but be wary, this is large ~120MB in size.

I am using xteve to load my M3u and xmltv files into Plex. It looks like the US EPG works fine up until around 8pm each night and then my channels get dropped because there is no EPG information. Is this expected? If so - can the EPG be populated to at least have 24 hours worth of EPG data? In xteve, I am pulling a copy of the XML file each morning around 6am.. so if the issue is with the time that i perform the refresh let me know.

I just have no idea where to go with this.

Alot of channels don't map to the US iptv-org iptv m3u.

I noticed that alot of channels aren't being mapped.

I am using https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/countries/us.m3u with https://iptv-org.github.io/epg/guides/tvtv.us.guide.xml

Any way to fix this?

Edit: I noticed this pull request for the iptv repo. iptv-org/iptv#4375 I assuming it's getting updated? Any way I could help?

Adding extra time for EPG list xml file to solve Unsync EPG-TV content

Hello, I am able to get EPG list but it is not sync with the TV show. There is 4 hours gap for me. But I have solved the issue adding +0400 in the XML file. Here is the example:

How can I add that +0400 to this list automatically?

USA EPG Not Loading Properly

The USA playlist loaded properly from: 🇺🇸 United States 1901 https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/countries/us.m3u

But the EPG did not load at all. So I clicked on this link: https://github.com/iptv-org/epg to find my specific country (USA) and input the 2 links that were provided: 🇺🇸 United States https://iptv-org.github.io/epg/guides/tvtv.us.guide.xml

Both urls loaded on my Tivimate properly, but only about 33%-40% of the EPG loaded. I know I am being very presumptuous in asking for help, but I am an old retired guy with just enough tech knowledge to really screw things up. So I would appreciate anything you can do to help me out.

The UK EPG is for 31 Aug when it should be for 1 Sep. E.g.

France EPG time is not correct

The time is the local time without time correction. Messes up the display in any globalized software like Emby by currently 2 hours
i.e. program is shown starting at 11:05pm instead of 9:05pm :

Austria XML URL

Noticed the Austria URL isn’t listed but there are channels in the search.

CNBC Europe not in US EPG?

I see that CNBC Europe channel is listed as an available channel for the USA guide. However, when I use it in xTeve to map the channel I only see CNBC East, West and World. I don't see the CNBC Europe channel as an option. What am I missing?

Repeated programs if set to more than 24 hours

I was testing the elcinema.com.config.js on my computer and noticed that if you grab the EPG more than a day, it will just repeat the same programs as of today and not continue to grab the other shows on the other day. I attached the guide below that grabbed it.
