Axis other than xyz?

Can I route x,y,z thru toslink and then route an extruder axis directly to the stepper drive or will there be axis synchronization problems?

Hello,

I have built a machine that has X1-X2 and Y1-Y2 then Z. Instead of cloning can I just add rX card with same address for X1-X2 and same address for Y1-Y2? How much trouble will it be to get the limit switches through the toslink? How do I add needed hardware to make switches work? I am using planet-cnc with no Arduino.

Not enough room on the CPLD to hold both, the transmitter and the receiver.

There is not enough room on the CPLD to hold both, the transmitter and the receiver. To enable transfer of limit switch signals from receivers back to transmitter, there would also need to be an additional optical receiver implemented on the transmitter PCB's CPLD. This problem can be solved by stacking two transcievers one over another. Firmware for the second transciever is currently under development.

Hi Did anyone know were i can find the firmware for the ardoino ?

there is nothing ! did i have to write it by myself ( im not a programmer so unpossible)

why do you use the complex optical link where as there is couple of robust wireless links such as old one Bluetooth and new one ESP8266,?also there is couple of modify Marlin for laser and plasma cutting

Trigger signal inputs on transmitter need additional pull-up or pull-down resistors. It is an issue only if transmitter board is disconnected from Arduino, Raspberry PI or Planet CNC controller.

Endstops yellow pcb

Hi i get my set with a yellow PCB 2 optical connectors one marked with TX and on with RX means that i have a send and reciving ? so i can use the 2 pins for the endstops on the toclinK PCB ?
( sorry for the wuestion i buy a long time ago but too many work to start with this project)
