Sessioning middleware for the iron web framework.

session's Issues

Add feature to access key of session.

Sometimes want to use key outside of session(such as store random-generate session key into cookie).

So, Please make public Sessions's key or create function to retrieve key session.

Cannot publish crate.

Currently @hikelee has the name taken and iron_session is taken as well by someone unaffiliated with iron.

Suggestions?

Abstract session storage.

If so desired, this should be reimplementable to use external database bindings.

This URL:http://docs.ironframework.io/session jumps to a 404 page.

Create convenience functions to abstract ids.

Have an ID generator in a closure.

Integrate cookies by default.

Inconsistency in README example

    server.chain.link(Sessions::new(id_from_socket_addr, HashSessionStore::<id_type, u32>::new()));

and

fn id_generator(req: &Request) -> id_type { ... }

Maybe, id_from_socket_addr should be renamed/replaced by id_generator.
