Why Isomo?

The current recruitment process could be time consuming and sometimes contain unintentional bias. People can fall prey to collective decision making errors similar to “herd behavior", social hierarchy bias, and social conformity bias. These above challenges have become obstacles for companies that are striving to create a diversified environment through fair recruitment.

Our Vision

We thrive to achieve true equality during the recruitment process by filtering out potential information that could lead to biases(e.g. Race, gender) from the applicant. This allows recruiters to simply analyze applications based on skillsets, experience, and performance.

How did we do it?

Isomo was created by a team of data scientists, analyst and game-changers driven by the goal of improving the fairness, efficiency and accuracy of the hiring decisions we make. We have conducted extensive research showing that hiring bias is real and could bring a negative effect to both companies and the individuals in many ways. By moving beyond traditional approaches and using the latest research insights, Isomo have the vision to simplify and streamline recruitment. As a result, a better company culture and performace can be achieved.

Create Homepage

Overview

Create the homepage using vuetify.

Setup Netlify for Continuous Integration

Overview

Currently, we are relying on executing a bash script to build and deploy our website, then Github Pages to host it. With Netlify, we will be able to push to a specific branch to trigger a deployment, as well as hosting multiple projects in a monorepo structure.

Deploy Documentation Website

Overview

Currently, we are local serving the website, we will deploy it on GitHub pages

Currently, the website will not be under a custom domain, but that can be easily implemented later.

Setup Blank Vue Project

Overview

Create a blank vue project under the monorepo. Refer to #15 for structure.

Figma UI Design

Design the User Journey for both the applicants and the companies on Figma

Change Logo

Overview

The current logo is too small. Implement the new logo in both the favicon as well as the navbar.

Setup Github Integration with Slack

Overview

Integrate Github notification with Slack so that team members will be notified of updates.

Set Up Start-Up Landing Website

Website should include brief introduction of the Start-Up, our initiatives and hopefully a demo. For the initiatives part, wait for Brian's handbook

Scraping personal github profile to automatically import in Isomo dashboard.

Refactor Project Structure

Overview

We are moving the projects back to a monorepo.
