This app will unlock the framerate of the game.

If the framerate is already locked, the app will re-lock it.

How to use

Download the latest release for your specific platform.

Drag the pokemon rom onto the binary file that is inside the zip OR in a terminal window, enter the binary name and path_to_rom.

• For example, './pg4_unlocker pokemon_diamond.nds'

Using existing saves on unlocked game

I've used pg4_unlocker successfully on SoulSilver with little involved effort. However, when I want to use an existing save, the framerate returns to normal once getting out of the title screen. The game loads just fine with the framerate unlocked and the title screen is zooming along nicely, then only once I select and load my save am I placed into the game with a limited framerate. If I choose to start a new game, the framerate is unlocked as expected.

Is there a way I can use my existing save created from a game with locked framerate on an edited game file with unlocked framerate?

What to do with file

Inside the windows zip is a file named "pg4_unlocker" with no extension. I cannot drag the nds file onto it and the cmd window says its not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. So how do i use this on windows?
