I am a full-stack developer currently based in New Jersey. I had always been interested in software engineering and web development but decided to pursue it after being introduced to coding while taking a Web Design course in college. I gained most of my skills and knowledge about software engineering through BootCamp, tutorials, books, and just working on projects independently.

[FRONTEND] - Update Searchbar's Appearance

Update the appearance of the component so that it matches the theme of the rest of the app.

To achieve this do the following:

• Remove the bottom border
• Add an inner shadow

More Responsiveness

The title says it all
All pages need additional responsiveness

[FEATURE] - Call to Action Button for Endangered Animals

Add a call to action for animals that have a conservation status(excluding those whose conservation status is marked NA[not applicable]).

Accessibility Testing

Do accessibility testing and add updates

Indexing

Using Prisma, add an index for faster search results. Currently, users are able to search for animals by name.

Update README.md

The README.md needs more details. Sections of the README.md should be:

Fix the Search Dialog/Modal/Popup

The search dialog on the navigation bar does not close when the user chooses an animal from the autocomplete input. Fix it so that when a user does click an option from the search, it closes the dialog.

Add News Articles to Animal Details Page

Consume a news api and have a few articles rendered on the /animal/[animal] page.
