next-intercom's Issues

intercom script already inserted

Hi, thanks for your lib. I have some question for this:

I have a home page. When user open the home page first time, I'll call the method: loadIntercom . If user leave the page and go to other page, I'll call shutdownIntercom. And if the user go to home page again, I'll call the showIntercomWindow. But the loadIntercom will be called again and the error will show: intercom script already inserted .

Question:

  1. how can i make the loadIntercom method only be called once. Do we need a new method to get whether the intercom script already inserted.
  2. If user login the site, and go to the home page again, we have username and email in this time. How to set them to the intercom?

Rebooting intercom

When my users log out i run shutdownIntercom which works as expected except i can not seem to reboot intercom? i tried re-initiating the loadIntercom but it does not seem to work. Should i maybe replace showdownIntercom with updateIntercom to remove any user data?

Load with Facade

A number of performance monitors recommend loading intercom with a facade. Is there a method to load intercom with next-intercom using a facade?

onClick call back for intercom widget

Hi,

I see that currently there's no way to call a callback function when a user clicks on the intercom widget.
Is this something not possible with the current intercom library?

If it is possible, how hard is it to implement it for next-intercom?

Is it possible to use for logged out users?

I'm considering using this package for a SaaS marketing website. The marketing site will be outside the auth context of the product.

After testing it seems the chat fails to load if no email or userId is passed, is there any way to use this package for logged-out users?

Intercom('Show')

Hi there,

Is there a way to achieve this result through next-intercom?

We're using loadIntercom() to add the user attributes but cannot use Intercom('show') since we're not using a <script> to add the messenger to the website.
