A web application for tracking and analyzing vehicle mileage, built with Flask and hosted on Heroku.

ManyMiles aims to provide an easy and user-friendly way to track and analyze vehicle mileage. To make it even easier to add records, a REST API is also provided.

API Usage

Documentation for the API is coming soon, including descriptions of the following features:

More features are coming soon as well, such as the ability to get your current mileage overage.

Inspiration

I'm a data fanatic, so I log my car's mileage in a spreadsheet daily to see how I'm doing relative to my lease's mileage limit. My endgoal was a Siri Shortcut that would allow me to record my daily mileage hands-free by speaking to my phone; this meant that I needed some kind of API. A functional website, supplementary analysis, and web development experience were icing on the cake.
