if any test case fail through except then can we stop execution at that point of time?

Thank you for the edit, the original reference to Protractor and testNg is what threw me. Could you add some example describe/it blocks of what you'd expect this to look like once implemented?

Example:

it('Do Something',function(){
  perform some:- operation1
  expact(PlagHeader.getText()).toEqual("XYZ");
  perform some:- operation2
});

In above example, if expect fails even though it execute operation2 but in case of assert(hard assert), it should stop execution and give error message.

I'm going to close this because it is something that belongs in Jasmine itself - it's about how Jasmine behaves when it encounters failures.
