FR: A Player will receive a specified amount of gold over a specified time interval.

The specified amount of gold and time interval are to be determined.

FR: Users shall only see certain information relating to other players

Player's info screens shall, in relation to their opponents, only display their total population

FR: Players will be able to chat with each other

Players will be able to use an in-game chat window to send messages to other players and receive messages from other players.

User Stories: Tutorial

As a player, I would like a tutorial so that I can learn how to play the game.

User Story: As a player, I want to play against other players so that it is competitive.

FR: Apply Population Booster

If the population booster is applied, the system shall accelerate the population growth rate by the amount specified by the type of booster applied.

FR: Players can infect one another using viruses

User Story: Information Gaining

As a player I would like some process of keeping tabs on all my opponents so I know a rough idea of what they are doing.

User Story : specify virus

As a player, I want to be able to pick the traits of my virus so that I can strategize.

FR: Buy Virus

If the user buy a virus through the store, the system shall check the user’s remaining golds. If the amount of golds user have is larger than the amount required to buy the virus, the price of the virus shall be deducted from user’s available golds and the virus shall be added to user’s virus library. If there are not enough golds available, the game shall present a warning to the user.

FR: When the resource "gold mine" is clicked, the player will receive an increase to their rate of gold production, and spend the amount of gold necessary on the gold mine.

The rate of increase of gold production is TBD. The cost of the gold mine is TBD.

User Story: see opponent's population

As a player, I want to be able to see my opponents population statistics so that I may judge my progress in the game.

FR: A log of game events will be shown in the player's HUD.

This way the user can see the game history.

User Story : Lobby Leader

As a player I would like to have the Lobby creator be a Lobby Leader, and this Lobby leader will have the ability to kick/ban players from the lobby if they so choose.

FR: Applying Vaccines

Infected population that effected by specific virus should be cured if the corresponding vaccines are applied.

User Story: As a player, I want to be able to infect other players so that I can decrease my opponents’ population and win the game.

FR: Vaccines will decrease effectiveness of viruses on player population

FR: Administrators will be able to ban certain players within reason.

User Story: As a player, I want to be able to buy “gold mines” so that I may increase my rate of gold production.

Players will be able to buy gold mines with their gold so that they may increase their rate of gold production.

FR: When the virus resource is clicked, the player will pay the gold cost for the virus and receive the virus in their inventory.

Cost for virus TBD.

FR: Players will be able to select an option to host a Votekick on other players.

User Story: As a player, I want to receive gold coins so that I can invest it into resources.

As time passes during a game, a player should receive a fixed amount of gold coins over a specified time interval. These gold coins can be used to invest in resources.

FR: Viruses will decrease player population as long as the virus is active

User Stories: Buy Vaccines

As a player, I want to be able to buy vaccines so that I may counteract viruses.

FR: Espionage

Players will be able to send spys to another countries to gain information on what they are researching and what vaccines/viruses they are getting.

FR: Players will be able to connect and play one another

FR: Players will be able to control virus aspects.

Players will be able to control aspects including detection rate, time to sickness/death, and the rate of evolution of the virus.

User Story: As a player, I want to be able to cure my population so that I can counteract my opponents’ infections and stay alive.

FR: Login

If the login button is clicked, the server shall check the credentials provided by the user. If the credentials are correct, the user shall be able to access his account and start the game.

User Story: Vote Kicking Players

As a player I would like the ability to vote people off the island in cases where they might be toxic/griefing the game.

FR: Sabotage Vaccine

Players will be able to delay vaccine research by other players by sending spies to their countries.

User Story: see certain gameplay statistics

As a player, I want to be able to see my own gameplay statistics (such as population, reproduction rate, amount of gold, etc) in a HUD.

User Stories: Popuation Booster

As a player, I want to be able to buy “reproduction boosters” so that I may increase my reproduction rate. It will accelerate the natural rate of population growth if applied.

FR: Players shall be able to select a country to attack

User Story: As a player, I want to be able to buy viruses so that I may lower my opponents population.
