Use Javascript, HTML,Bootstrap and CSS to create a webpage with a dynamic table to provide a more in depth analysis of UFO sightings by allowing users to filter multiple criteria such as date, city, state, country and shape.
The web page loads with all the data displayed, users can filter through the data by inputing information into the filter fields, once the user presses enter/return or clicks on the page it will return results that were queried. Placeholders have been provided so that users have an example on how to enter information on the filter fields correctly.
1.) The end user typed in "ca" in the country filter field and pressed enter and all the sightings in Canada were returned.
2.) These are the results for a filter search with multiple search criteria, i.e date, state, country and shape, the results returned were narrowed to meet what was queried.
3.) Results will not populate if incorrect date format or uppercase letters are used for the city, state, country and shape fields, below the incorrect date format and capitalizing the "S" and "D" in San Diego returns no data.
-
Drawback of this webpage:
1.) The filter fields will only populate data if everything inputed into each filter field is in the proper format AND only lower case for the city, state, country and shape filters are used.

Additional recommendations for further development:
1.) The option of a clear button so that the filter field can be reset instead of having the user manually delete the data.
2.) A dropdown option of data for each filter field, this would be very helpful for users who are not familiar with the data.
3.) The ability to retrieve data when you search in the filter boxes using Uppercase to capitialize the first letter of the city, state, country or shape fields.
