Tools to work with "The Pinball Arcade" files

This is a set of tools to operate on The Pinball Arcade (PBA) files. PBA is a video-game developed by FarSight Studios.

Most of the tools in this repository convert to JSON, TGA or OBJ/MTL.

This tool is not able to create any kind of PBA files yet! It merely loads / converts PBA files to more usable file formats at the moment.

Compilation / Running

First install all dependencies:

• libtxc_dxtn

Then run the following commands to clone and compile

git clone https://github.com/JayFoxRox/pba-tools.git
cd pba-tools
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make -j 4

The tools will be available in the build folder.

sorry I have not continued I was needing a tool to unzip .rez and extract wav files

compiled binary please

could you not provide the compiled binary?

I tried installing git , firstly no instructions on how to install the dependencies , even when searching it on my own it failed to install , the same for your instructions , my git installation using the bash tool did not recognize the commands cmake or make. I tried researching this and tried to add some files to some directory for getting make to work , i also installed cmake, still no luck all sorts of path errors when running cmake , also errors on the make command. this is now hours into just trying to get some textures from junkyard. I do own pinball arcade and did buy the table. I am a developer but not in this field of stuff , this is really annoying now because there is so little info on using or doing anything of this git stuff.. please just provide a compiled binary .. thanks

Help me pick a license.

I currently consider going with GPLv2-only or some form of the LGPL.

(On the other hand I'm worried that FarSight Studios might not like these tools. However I might still want to work for them at some point in the future. So maybe a more restrictive license would be more suitable?)
