While given documentation is good for intermediate and advanced users, beginners are left out. Can we do a more friendly documentation?

Build on other linux detros

Building images on ubuntu destro leaves one with a very big image made up of "useless" system libs. Can we leverage other small size mainstream destros like alpine or debian?
