VS 2017 requires extensions to be repackaged using the 2017 VSIX SDK.
Everything works fine, except that I get nothing listed in Intellisense after typing something along the lines of :
// : and then pressing Ctrl+space
I've installed Remoji, to no effect. Ideas?
I installed to both VS2013 and VS2015.
It installed fine in both, but it only renders the emoji in VS2015.
๐
I use the Chinese system, "Ctrl-space" is the input method Toggle shortcut key, shortcut key conflicts with IntelliSense .
Can I customize a shortcut?
First of all thank you for your plugin.
It would be great to have plugin with custom image handling. I think about following syntax
:http://server.com/image.jpg:
or with image size override
:640x480,http://server.com/image.jpg:
As a comment on vsgallery I read that you plan to enable emojis only in comments. Please think about an option that allows to turn that on by hand.
It'd be great if this integrated with Slack to support your teams custom emoji. ๐
When editing an F# file, if you type .
as the last character in the file, Visual Studio will error and restart. I can't get a stack trace, sorry, so I don't know what's going wrong. But if I disable EmojiVS, it works fine, and if I enable it, well, it doesn't ๐ This is VS2015 + F#4, all other extensions disabled (apart from ReSharper. I'm not disabling that. No sir.)
My VS's version is VS 2013 Update5, it can display the emoji images when I typed :warning:
, but I can't get the intellisense of VS even if I press ctrl-space
, and there is no R#.
When I ran the python tools with this extension installed I had errors that occurred and the intellisense would completely break. Uninstalled emojivs and everything seemed to work fine.
Errors when using emoji's when UAS is enabled
When Intellisense works (see #2), it's still not quite what I expect.
I have to type at least // :
and press ctrl-space
to see the dropdown.
It would be much nicer if the dropdown showed up as soon as I enter a :
(as long as I'm in a comment).
In a <style>
node, when I type ": "
([colon] and then [space]), I get the ๐ icon displayed. ๐
maybe your should CLEARLY state that this works just in comments not in HTML or other code
The ๐ emoji is displayed in strings that contain colon separated hex bytes, e.g.
var s = "ff:00:ab:cd:ef:...";
Using VS2015 with ReSharper, I can't get a dropdown with the available emoji.
It works if I suspend or uninstall ReSharper.
When I enter an emoji and use the arrow keys for navigation, the true position is like I still have the text instead of the icon.
