Error when trying to convert a pdf into notebook what should i do?

Syntax Error

Remarkable Generated PDF is not reconverted properly

When reconverting the lines are rendered as such that the end of a shape is connected to it's beginning, making characters illegible.
This may be due to difference between pdf's containing images and pdf's containing svg like drawings.

Converting Multi-page PDF

First, thank you for creating this. I've been looking for a way to copy and past excerpts from the Bible to my notebooks. When I tried to convert my PDF Bible, the script only processed the first 2 pages. is this normal?

Convert ReMarkable PDF to Notebook

There is a relatively new option to export notebooks to GDrive. However it’s currently not possible to reconvert the exported PDF to Notebook format, I get a scaled down version.
This could be a feature for editing the notebooks, and then reUploading.

Issues/Question

Hi I'm trying to get this script to run on windows.

Is there somehow a possibility to convert it so that it works for windows?
My first attempt was to manually generate the zip file by converting two pdf files and manually adjust the .content file to put them together but this did not work.
My next try was just to get your "Notebook.zip" example -> unzip it and zip it again.
But strangely tis new zipped file had not appear on the remarkable after i have uploaded it via rmapi.
So just unzipping and zipping changes the whole zip?
Do you have any idea why that is happening?

I was just stupid. But now I finally got a working python script that runs on windows like yours :)

Suggestions for future releases

@JCN-9000 - I have a few ideas that would make the script a little easier to use and distribute; I'm happy to jump on a few of these if it fits with your vision for the project:

Simplify Distribution & Installation

Move the var/lib contents into the script itself

Rationale: makes it simpler to just download the script, and no additional bits are needed

Counter Rationale: jamming everything into one file makes future maintenance uglier

Switch to .rmn by default

Make the default output .rmn.

rationale: The .zip option is great with rmapi, but rmapi is deprecated and no longer supported. It looks like RCU is the best way to move files for the moment.
