Muzzle flash

Stage progression may have issues with resetting certain values

Please add any issues discovered relating to stage progression (ending the dungeon and going to the next one) here.

Likely ones so far:
Player stats need to be topped up but not reset (e.g. health/ammo)
Room exit arrows are not drawing when room cleared.

Draw tiles in batches

When we draw the map, we can draw all tiles of each type at the same time for a (purportedly) large speedup

Interstitial screens are slow

Enemies should be invincible when outside the play area or inside the outer walls

Sounds can sometimes can get stuck repeating

Occasionally some sounds get stuck playing over and over.

First noticed on Jan 12 with older sound_manager, persists with use of AudioManager.

Typically dying/restart will fix it.
It may happen when playing the 'dying' sound for enemies.

player electrocution animation starts at entering next room if electrocuted in last room

When you have not been electrocuted and enter a room, the animation is ok, but then when you get electrocuted (by firing the lightning gun in water), the animation will start and stop appropriately in that room, but upon entering the next room, the electrocution animation starts immediately when you enter the next room and continues until you get electrocuted again (and then leave the water or stop firing the gun)

Mobs drop bodies when they die

Player should face towards screen when moving straight E/W

right now if you move exactly E or W (easy with keyboard arrows) the player faces away from camera
