Requirements

For building and running the application you need:

• JDK 1.8
• Maven 3

Running the application locally

You can use the Spring Boot Maven plugin like so:

mvn spring-boot:run

Nice article.

But, the test case on Integration folder all failed.

Not Working After Checkout: Could not extract response

I was trying to follow along with the DZone blogpost about making tests, but I couldn't get the application to work in the first place. It runs fine, but when I do a request to http://localhost:8080/manga/sync/ken or to http://localhost:8080/manga/async/ken, I'm getting back the following error:

    "error": "Internal Server Error",
    "message": "Could not extract response: no suitable HttpMessageConverter found for response type [class com.mgiglione.model.MangaResult] and content type [text/html]"

I read somewhere else that I needed to include jackson-databind, but simply adding that caused my tomcat not to start, since it conflicting with what boot was pulling in. It provides a full stack trace for the RestClientException within the JSON it's returning , so let me know if you can't recreate and need it.
