Support not showing '0' / Infinite max value

As is, the plug-in requires you to, effectively, assert how many digits it will hold up front with counterStart. If you specify counterStart = '0000' or counterStart = '1234' it will support 4 digits and roll over after 9999.

I want to use jOdometer in a way where it can, effectively, count up to infinity. Each time a new 10x is reached it should 'expand' left to a new digit. I don't want it to show leading '0's.

Can support for this be added easily?
