Features

• No Ads - No ads, no popups, no redirects, no bullshit
• PWA Support - Munchyroll has PWA (Progressive Web App) support, which means that you can add it to your home screren as an app
• Time Responsive Background - The background color changes based on what your local time is. It starts off at a rich yellow in the morning, blue in the afternoon, to a faded red in the evening, and space black in the night
• Mobile Responsiveness - The website will scale down to look good on mobile just as it does on desktop

Local Development

If you want to self host this app, please note that it's only allowed for personal use; commercial use is not permitted

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/Jeydin21/Munchyroll.git

2. Go into the project folder and install dependencies using npm:

npm install

3. Start the development server

npm run dev

4. Open the project in your browser:

http://localhost:3000

munchyroll's Issues

The quality is bad

Switch video player to plyr.io

Plyr is a really nice looking video player that I have used in the past. I want to add it into this project and replace the old video player

Site error

hello @Jeydin21 i ran into an issue after the deployment of the website

after this screen if i search or click on the home button i get the 500 internal server error

some it also shows application error client side error.
i have deployed my api on render and i got error i that also i have shared the screenshot of all the error.
can u kindly help me with it.

i will be waiting for your response...... by the way ur website reaaly good keeping thing to minimal with nice themes i loved the concept.

Migrate to Consumet API

The current GogoAnime API is archived by the author, and the new Consumet API is really good. Munchyroll will be migrating to the Consumet API at some point

I should do this soon, as the old API has been taken down and I won't be getting any more support from the developer if I run into an issue. Any contributions to this would be greatly appreciated.
