Comment tags such as <!-- test --> seem to be ignored as well.

Workaround:
Include the xml/html code via the [source] tag.

Hi @informaterian,

Markdown can contains HTML and you are right that Angular will definitely try to parse the template. I haven't found any built-in solution yet for this not to happen (any suggestion would be welcome).

Like you said, the best workaround is to use the [src] input binding so this way the HTML contained in the remote file won't be parse by Angular template parser.

<markdown-to-html [src]="'path/to/file.html'"></markdown-to-html>
