You can add HTML into your markdown althought depending where it is shown (i.e. on Github readme page) some of the CSS customization can be stripped.

Just wanted to give you a heads up on the feature request.

I added the pipe but I am struggling with a small visual glitch where applying synthax highlight make the code snippet flicker.

As soon as I found a workaround I'll release the new feature.

v1.5.0 as been released and now include MarkdownPipe.
