I will try and look into it, but one thing you could try is to see if it also happens without the KVM switch.

Thanks so much. The same issue persists without the KVM (ie, I plugged the device directly into my work laptop). Also, I should have mentioned that a similar issue showed up when my back and forwards buttons were mapped to macros involving arrow down and up on tap, and page down and up on hold. When I opened the right click context menus in the web browser, I still saw the items being highlighted rapidly in the down or up directions. Could it be that the tap output keys are forced to be held down for some reason even after I let go of the buttons? That would explain why I would see the context menu highlights going down or up infinitely at least when my taps were mapped to arrow down/up keys, but it would not explain the behavior when the taps are mapped to page down/up. Anyway, please let me know if I can help in any way. I can install software if needed on my personal PC to diagnose.
