jobs-app's Introduction

Welcome to the Jobs App!!!

This is my first time working with TypeScript in a project, and I wanted to create this app to keep track of all the jobs I'm currently applying to. With this app, I can easily monitor my progress and know how much closer I am to landing my next job.

How to run this project

There are a few easy steps to check my project and give some feedback if you want to.

  • 1 - Install Node js
  • 2 - Clone the repository 馃摎 by installing Git and running "git clone" with the URL of the project: https://github.com/jhael07/jobs-app.git. Alternatively, you can download a zip file.
  • 3 - Once you have accessed the project 馃彈, open the command line and type "npm i" to install all the dependencies.
  • 4 - Finally, return to the command line and type "npm run dev" to execute the project. A message will appear with the URL where the project is running, which is usually http://localhost:5173. Alternatively, you can click on the command line and press "o" to open the app in your preferred browser.

Technologies used in this project

  • ReactJS (for creating the UI)
  • TypeScript (for strongly typed code)
  • Tailwind (to simplify and customize CSS as desired)
  • Supabase (I chose this database because I wanted to create a project that could be up and running quickly.)

I would aprecciate any feedback. 馃

  • 1 - Instale Node.js
