doesn't work

4.checed 'whatismyip.com' and i'm still showing as a sprint ip
5. socks dynamic is enabled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
my ip is still my sprint mobile device. i expect to browse the web behind my 
ssh server, and using the rooted android phone's "iptables" support..it does 
not work. either that or instructions to get it working are not clearly 
outline. I'm pretty advanced, and  _thought_ i set it up correctly.

xoom平板中完美运行，如果能增加帐号的切换功能就更完美了�
��另外不知道程序中的“应用代理”及“全局代理”在DNS查询
方面有何差异？因为发现在对youtube进行单独设置代理时是只�

我有一个SSH帐号，平时在桌面系统上用Bitvise+Firefox来翻墙，��
�有权限在SSH服务器上安装软件。

现Android系统上，SSH 
Tunnel安装完成，已经能连接上SSH服务器（通知栏有图标）。
设置方面：本地端口1984，远程端口3128，已勾选“全局代理”
。

打开浏览器（Webkit

请问该如何设置？本人Android

Getting "Fail to connect" when enabling the tunnel switch

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter host
2. Enter User
3. Enter Password
4. Select Use socks proxy
5. Select Global Proxy (yes, phone is rooted)
6. Click Tunnel Switch

It should connect but I get a system notification that says "Fail to connect".  
I know the SSH server is configured properly, because I can connect to it using 
Connectbot without a problem.  Any ideas what might be the issue?  Are there 
any logs I can look at to see what might be the problem?

Doesn't work on Roms that no redirect supported.

Huawei C8500, firmware 2.1-update1, kernel 2.6.29-perf. (I googled someone 
complained C8600 doesn't works either on internet.)

Server: Ubuntu sshd, squid.

I have tried to executed the iptable commands, then got the following results:
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name.

Obviously, the REDIRECT target is unsupported. Fortunately, the DNAT target 
works. So the iptables command should a little change:
/data/data/org.sshtunnel/iptables_g1 -t nat -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT 
--to 127.0.0.1:8123
/data/data/org.sshtunnel/iptables_g1 -t nat -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 443 -j 
DNAT --to 127.0.0.1:8124
/data/data/org.sshtunnel/iptables_g1 -t nat -A OUTPUT -p udp --dport 53 -j DNAT

I debugged it and did a patch in the attachment. The patch is relaxed, you may 
want to optimize it.

2G/3G切换到Wifi也会出现类似问题，且切换后无法再连接成功��
�已经确认网络和服务器没有问题。注意到出问题后将程序中�
��自动连接选项关闭再重新打开，问题就解决了，但是遇到网
络切换时又可能出现类似问题。还有一次报告程序crash。

p.s. 
开发者很热心，昨天提交了一个issue今天就解决了。这个程序
确实很有用，可惜没做过android开发，不会自己搞，只好在这�

ssh代理是cjb的，在电脑上是可以正常使用的，在你的程序里��
�置完成后程序显示连接成功，但这时根本没法上网，在你的�

'grep' 不是内部或外部命令，也不是可运行的程序
或批处理文件。

能否增加后台值守方式

当前的版本一旦网络连接断开（如关闭Wifi或者离开信号覆盖�
��域），SSH就自动断掉了，sshtunnel也自动退出了。可否增加一
个后台值守功能，当网络可用时，sshtunnel自动恢复连接，这��
�一些程序（如Twitter客户端）就可以一直自动同步了。

目前的“Auto reconnect”选项对这个不起作用。

1.1.6和1.1.7版本出现其他程序无法连接问题（疑为DNS问题）

1.不使用全局代理，而是选择针对某个程序代理
2.连上SSH
3.使用代理的程序访问网络正常，不使用代理的程序访问网络
有问题。进入terminal测试，ping域名不通，ping 
IP可以通。怀疑是DNS代理出现了问题（注意到源码中最近有DNS

Proxy的修改）。之前用的一切正常。使用一段时间后似乎使用
代理的程序也无法访问网络了。

experiment版本相比0.5.3版本启动之后使用iptable -t nat -L 
-nv查看，可以看到没有自行启动代理服务器。

Wifi vs 3G

Was wondering if you had any plans to have Wifi/3G specific settings.

I would prefer to use SSH Tunnel on my phone over 3G, vs my trusted home 
connections to save battery.

some suggestions

first, nice work, well, still some suggestions though

1, try dropbear instead of connectbot, might improve performance.
2, implement other components(dns etc) in NDK for performance again.
3, support setting proxy directly, not through ssh, well, you might suggest 
transproxy but it has no dns proxy.
4, multiple profile selection.

无限重连的选项

类似MyEnTunnel中infinite Retry Attempts的“无限重连选项”。
与之配套再加上“自定义重试超时”的功能。因为wifi信号不�
��真的很容易掉线。
目前应该是一定次数失败后杀掉服务。

Force close in custom rom for HTC Hero

Environment:
  Root，Elelinux-6.2-RC0，Kernel 2.6.29.6

Possible problems:
  1. this custom rom has a kernel not supported by our attached iptables.
  2. some other programing bugs for ARM architecture identification function

recovering from crash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Stable connection to Wifi network
2.SSHTunnel running for several hours (overnight)
3.In morning sshtunnel has crashed. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

After periods of connectivity I sometimes notice the icon missing from the 
status bar. 
Open the SSH Tunnel application and am presented with a pop-up indicating that 
the application is recovering from a crash and to report it here. 

This has happened several times 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.3.1 of SSHTunnel on Froyo 2.2 Droid2 Global rooted.

Please provide any additional information below.

I am using Socks proxy (Dynamic port forwarding) on and Global Proxy setting on.

在使用vpn上网的情况下代理失败

学校的网络需要vpn连接，当连上vpn时，ssh 
tunnel能连上，但是所有软件都不能上网。直接用GPRS连ssh 
tunnel正常。

android版本：2.3.4
ssh tunnel使用全局代理

开过安全隧道之后，关掉就无法连接互联网

手机HTC Hero
ROM: elelinux 7.0 rc2 1.6
安全隧道开的时候可以上网和翻墙，关掉之后普通的网也无��
�连接。必须重启。

Feature request

1.可以自定义需要代理程序的端口， 
现在只代理了80和443端口，能否增加一个设置界面，自定义哪
些端口需要代理 （ Asproxy具有这个功能 ）
2.在服务停止的时候不要使用iptables -t nat -F
因为有可能其他程序也设置了iptables的nat规则，这样全部暴力
清楚的话会造成冲突。

在手机上的android market无法搜索到本软件

以前旧版本是可以搜索安装到的,最近看到有更新在手机上登�
��电子市场后无法找到该软件.以前用关键字"ssh"就可以搜索出
来的, 现在用 "ssh" "tunnel" "ssh tunnel" "隧道" "安全隧道" 
均不能搜索到, 但在电脑上登录电子市场却能找到本软件. 
希望作者查看一下软件发布的区域有没有包含**地区,
