This project is simply a means to exploring Vert.x using Java. So far, I've set up a basic REST api that sends messages over the EventBus (mostly pointless except demonstrating how). I've also made the verticles use a config file for setting up things like port and number of deployed verticle instances. I've added a RedisClientVerticle to manage my connection with Redis. I'll continue building that out and replace my temporary global Map<String, JsonObject>. What's next?
