Hi,

The {$INTF_REGEXP} macro is used to differentiate normal Interface to critical.

For example, trigger on interface with description "UPSTREAM" will have better severities that interface with description "DOWNSTREAM" if you use this macro {$INTF_REGEXP}= (up|UP)

Hi,
sorry to bother you again, but when I apply the template to a host I receive no information concerning the interfaces and I don't know why. That macro, if I leave it blank, should I receive information from all the interfaces? When you refer to interface description you mean the description I just configure for the interface or the interface name itself (for example FastEthernet0/1)? Is there any way I can debug how the template is working for a host so I can determine why I'm not receiving any info in any of the hosts I have tried?

please excuse me, forget about the last comment, I have been checking and I haven't installed the OID to MIB translation library!!! Now I have it working. Thanks for your help and sorry for the inconvenience.
