M10 Option ROM error

I had examined the ML of the ROM detection and is similar to that of M102.
In fact loading the same Option ROM it result detect for M102 but not for M10.

Examining the piece of code I have:
MOV A,01
OUT E8, A
I think this activate the Option ROM part over the ROM (in fact the detection procedure is copied to RAM).
BUT
On M102 (and M200) this command work and switch the ROMs but not in Olivetti M10

Can you check if this is the case?
