Completeness of package removal

Issue

v0.1.1 removes a Developer Toolset meta-package, but does not remove the associated concrete-packages for a particular version. This effectively results in the removed version of the Developer Toolset being intact and usable.

The devtoolset-[3-9] packages are meta-packages in that they supply listings of concrete-packages, which directly manage file objects. The remove of a meta-package in yum does not result in the removal of its listing content.

Solutions

Three possible resolutions exist:

1. Provide listings of concrete-packages for each supported Developer Toolset meta-package version. Then use these listings to verify complete removal.

2. Use wildcards in the package remove. This will remove concrete-packages of the form devtoolset-[3-9].*, see Uninstalling Red Hat Developer Toolset.

3. Use yum-plugin-remove-with-leaves plugin, see "how to remove all installed dependent packages while removing a package in centos 7?".
