Wrapped lines need to be distinguished from normal indentation to avoid confusion.

Enable SuppressWarning filter

Sometimes the code has to escape the checkstyle config, yet we don't want to loosen the rules just for one specific case.
This is a good fit for the @SuppressWarning annotation in the exceptional case.

Remove RuntimeException from IllegalCatch check

This exception might be useful to catch at program borders in order to
sanitize the output. We can't just globally forbid it.

However, I can't think of a scenario where Throwable would be acceptable
or even Exception, since checked exceptions should be caught manually
one by one and most likely handled differently.

Make line continuation indentation 8 spaces

Support Java 9 module-info.java

Forbid @author Javadoc tag

This @author tag needs to be maintained and often becomes a lie.
We should rely on Git (or the VCS in general) to track the author of the code. It is better on many aspects for this job.
