Program error on launch

Deaths are counted but not shown on screen

The app opens and it counts my deaths but there is no message on screen like in the gifs. i'm playing borderless windowed and i'm using ModEngine. Could that be the problem?

death counter "randomly" adding deaths

Hi, was practicing for an Elden Ring event which consists of multiple sets of tasks and the deaths for each set are counted separately, so i reset the death count after each set. at first everything went normal but after some time (5th or so reset and about 4h in), the death counter started to randomly add deaths. it happened when drinking flask of wonderous physique, crimson tears flask and when activating a site of grace and other times randomly when i was jumping with or off torrent and in about half an hour of play it added 11 deaths total despite me only dying 3 times.

I then reset the counter again and added the 3 deaths manually and after that it worked fine again.

I've been using Souls DC for some time and that was the first time I noticed that behaviour and I have no idea what might have caused it.

I'm using Souls_DC v22.05
