I'm a climate researcher and data scientist at the University of Arizona. My research focuses on paleoclimate data assimilation. I'm the author and developer of DASH, a Matlab package for paleoclimate data assimilation workflow, as well as other climate-related projects. Penman-Monteith options

Would be nice to not be limited to Thornthwaite

Do we really want Precipitation to be in units of inches/month?

Might be better to use a metric unit instead of inches

Don't require data to start in January

Need to decide how years are defined for Southern Hemisphere data.
Options:

1. Year is the year of the starting month.
2. Year is the year of the next immediate January.
