Error running http_requests.rb

I'm receiving the following error with running part1_examples/http_requests.rb

Running ruby 2.0.0p451 on OSX 10.9.4

Error in file_operations.rb

On line 30 'writable' is misspelled as 'writeable' which causes the following error:

file_operations.rb:30:in file_writeable?': undefined methodwriteable?' for File:Class (NoMethodError)
from file_operations.rb:48:in `

'

Lines 28 and 48 also contain this misspelling but do not affect the running of the script.
