date-streaks's Issues

A possible bug in streakRanges

Firstly, love the library!

I have a dataset with 215 records, the summary data ends up with 77 total sum of the streaks.
From what I can understand:

The streakdData function reduces, based on the assumption that summing the streaks will equal the size of the dataset (ie 215).

 allDates.splice(0, streak);

https://github.com/jonsamp/date-streaks/blob/master/src/streakRanges.js#L17

Example with 215 records, if you look at the output from the last console, you will notice it never gets into 2021, I believe this is linked to how it keeps slicing at the start, but doesnt have context of days without any type of streak, or a streak of 1.

I'm not able to get any streaks calculated with my array of dates

Here is my array, which I copied from the console:
0: Sun Sep 08 2019 21:45:53 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
1: Sun Sep 08 2019 23:14:41 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
2: Wed Sep 04 2019 17:50:23 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
3: Sun Sep 08 2019 18:17:42 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
4: Sun Sep 08 2019 18:18:17 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
5: Sun Sep 08 2019 18:18:50 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
6: Sun Sep 08 2019 18:20:07 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
7: Sun Sep 08 2019 18:22:14 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
8: Sun Sep 08 2019 19:18:56 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
9: Sun Sep 08 2019 19:19:19 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}
10: Sun Sep 08 2019 19:23:26 GMT+0100 (British Summer Time) {}

When I call summary({}) with the above data, I get the following object, which is not the correct calculation:
currentStreak: 0
longestStreak: 0
streaks: [1]
todayInStreak: false
withinCurrentStreak: false
proto: Object

On the other hand, when I use a fake data set, it works perfectly well.
const dates = [
new Date('01/01/2018'),
new Date('01/02/2018'),
new Date('01/04/2018')
];
summary({dates}), gives me the correct calculations.

Replace moment.js

Are you willing to accept a PR to remove moment() as dependency and use something more lightweigt?

Or instead a PR to at least only import the needed functions from moment instead of the entire lib?

Longest Streak Bug

Given the following dates:

[
  new Date("2013-04-17T04:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2013-06-16T02:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2013-06-23T08:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2013-09-28T01:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2013-11-11T17:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2014-07-13T08:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2015-07-15T15:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2015-10-03T06:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2016-03-05T10:13:31.000Z"),
  new Date("2016-04-18T00:13:31.000Z")
]

The summary given is:

{
  currentStreak: 0,
  longestStreak: 0,
  streaks: [ 1 ],
  todayInStreak: false,
  withinCurrentStreak: false
}

Where longestStreak should be 1.

Upgrade to TypeScript

Are there any plans or intentions to upgrade to Typescript or provide typings so it can better be used in projects that use typescript?
