React Snake Game

Description

This is a project for a React-based Snake game.

This is my first ever React project, and the idea is to get a grasp of the library and the best development practices.

Code reviews and contributions are super welcomed.

• Classic Snake gameplay
• High score tracking
• Customizable game settings (speed, size, etc.) (Upcoming)

Getting Started

git clone https://github.com/JorgeHerreraU/snake-game-react.git

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v20 or later recommended)
• npm (v12 or later)

Installation

1. Clone the repository
2. Navigate to the project directory: cd react-snake-game
3. Install the dependencies: npm install
4. Start the development server: npm run dev

Open http://localhost:5173/ to view the game in your browser.
