Clone of AirBnB v2

AIRBNB CLONE

This web application is composed by:

• A command interpreter to manipulate data without a visual interface, like in a Shell (perfect for development and debugging)
• A website (the front-end) that shows the final product to everybody: static and dynamic
• A database or files that store data (data = objects)
• An API that provides a communication interface between the front-end and your data (retrieve, create, delete, update them)

1. Console

With this command interpreter you can:

• create your data model
• manage (create, update, destroy, etc) objects
• store and persist objects to a file (JSON file)

Usage

./console.py

In the console you can use the following commands:

Command	First usage	Second Usage	Description
help	help <command>		Prints a description about the command
quit	quit		Exits the console
create	create <class name>	<class name>.create()	Creates a class instance, saves it to the JSON file and prints the id
show	show <class name> <id>	<class name>.show(<id>)	Prints the string representation of an instance based on the class name and id
destroy	destroy <class name> <id>	<class name>.destroy(<id>)	Deletes an instance based on the class name and id (save the change into the JSON file)
all	all <class name>	<class name>.all()	Prints all string representation of all instances based or not on the class name
update	update <class name> <id> <attribute> <value>	<class name>.update(<id>, <attribute>, <value>)	Updates an instance based on the class name and id by adding or updating attribute (save the change into the JSON file)
count	count <class name>	<class name>.count()	Prints the amount of a class instances

You can manage the following classes:

• BaseModel
• User
• State
• City
• Amenity
• Place
• Review

For example:

$ ./console.py
