Is there a way to extend the current ones without creating a new control?

Thank you for posting this repo, it is very helpful.
However, I have a question: Is there a way on MAUI we can extend/override the Label as example, with new properties so we can expose some functionality without the need to invoke que the controls:CustomLabel element? so, we can invoke it using the normal , we have tons of screens and we don't want to change ALL the labels in all screens just to add a new property and its value.

Handlers for the drawn controls?

For what I understood, the architecture should be something like

Xaml Control <-> Interface <-> Handler <-> Implementation

But implementation requires an android view for android, an uikit view for ios etc

While using drawn controls, I would like to implement handlers too so Comet can generate properties for it.

Do you know how to do it? In Microsoft.Maui.Graphics.Controls the thing is a little bit convoluted
