TagBot trigger issue

This issue is used to trigger TagBot; feel free to unsubscribe.

If you haven't already, you should update your TagBot.yml to include issue comment triggers.
Please see this post on Discourse for instructions and more details.

If you'd like for me to do this for you, comment TagBot fix on this issue.
I'll open a PR within a few hours, please be patient!

Package name and registration

In case you later wanted to register the package in the General registry (the default one), note that by convention Julia packages use CamelCase, contrary to the Python ecosystem which prefers lowercase. Thus, a more standard name would probably be something like PSResearch. Also, note that abbreviations are somewhat discouraged.

When you'll want to register the package, the workflow is as follows:

  • use either the GitHub app JuliaRegistrator (this is already setup for all repositories of this organisation) or JuliaHub to request the registration of the package
  • a new pull request will be automatically opened in General
  • a bot will check whether the package meets all requisites, if so the pull request will be automatically merged after 3 days
  • after successful registration of the package and any new version, TagBot will automatically create a git tag and GitHub release in this repository, corresponding to the version that appear in the General registry. It is important to not create the git tag before registration: from time to time it happens that one needs to do some fixes (e.g., missing compat bounds in the Project.toml file). TagBot, instead, will ensure the git tag is consistent with the version actually present in the registry.

Change Manifest

Following @giordano 's comment in #1:

I didn't touch the Manifest.toml files, but personally I don't find them very useful for packages: they're picked up by CI jobs, which effectively prevents you from testing the package with different versions of the dependencies, as they come out.

I need to understand how that works without Manifest.
