This is a quick little project I put together in 24h to solve our team's retro experience.

Before you ask, yes, it could definitely use some cleanup and some tests.

Can be found hosted at https://openretro.net and is completely free for personal and commercial use.

[Bug] Bad contrast on action items

In discuss stage

and in review stage

[Bug] Trash icon doesn't contrast well with some card background colors

Trash icon doesn't show up well on some—namely red—background colors.

[Feature Request] Preview retro type

Some form of preview of retro type would be nice. Could be example screenshots based on the current configuration, or something more stylized. For example, when doing an anonymous Drop Keep Add Remove retro with hidden brainstorm cards, show a simple example with cards from different users and the current user, to illustrate the hidden cards, and show the columns. Show what columns there are would be more helpful with "Agile" or "Four Ls" retro types.

[Bug] Action items don't break on spaces

[Bug] All votes in participants list are the current participant's votes

The vote tracking in the participants list shows the current user's votes status as the status for all users:

Ability to react to cards with emoji.

[Bug] Download/export link is very low contrast relative to background

The download/export link at retro review stage has very low contrast relative to the background, both in light and dark mode.

[Feature Request] Change title of site

Currently the title has the wrong name

[Bug] Grouping while in brainstorming

[Feature Request] Add back to home button

Usually if you click on the name or logo of a site it'll take you back to the homepage but there appears to be nothing that currently does that.

[Bug] Contrast on background when grouping is too low

It's hard to see the outline of a group of items in dark mode

[Bug] Participants list has incorrect draw order (z-indez)

Participants list is drawn under cards:

Action Items element on final Review page is styled for dark mode only - not light mode.

[Feature Request] Stage timer

Ability to set a timer for each stage that counts down. Doesn't need to do anything other than provide a visual reminder of a soft time limit.

[Bug] `Open Source` link in the subheading lacking sufficient contrast in dark mode if unvisited

There is a bunch of info being output in the console when using the site

[Feature Request] Enter should confirm diologs

Popup dialog boxes for confirming delete item and switching phase should confirm when hitting enter. For confirm to delete, that would be to delete item when hitting enter. For confirm phase switch when participants aren't ready, that would be to switch phase when hitting enter.

[Bug] Cards don't show all content in Discuss stage

The card doesn't expand to show all the content when in the discuss stage

[Improvement] Not immediately obvious when group title, and similar text box, changes are submitted

When first using the site, it's unclear when a group title is submitted vs still in edit. Having something like a submit button next to the field would improve visual clarity that the field isn't submitted yet. Similarly applies to actions items, but those are more obvious because they behave similar to card submissions.
