Magento Promotion Popup Extension

This extension allows you to create and configure a promotion popup from Back Office.

• Admin interface for managing popups
• Possibility to custom popup content and styles
• Possibility to include the newsletter subscription form automatically

Installation

As it's an unofficial module for Magento, it can't be installed from Magento Connect. So, you'll have to copy the content of magento-popup directory to the root directory of your Magento installation. After that, you need to refresh all caches and logout then login of Admin.

Configuration

• In Back Office -> Utilities ET -> Manage Popups Promotions, you can configure :
  • From/to dates
  • Store view
  • Title, description
  • Popup content (like css styles)
  • Upload image
  • the popup link url

Functionality

The popup will show only one time, at the first visit (installing a cookie). The user can click the popup to go to the specify URL or register to the newsletter directly from popup if configured as so.
