A simple menu module that dynamically generates menu links to all entities of a bundle.

Adds a menu that dynamically generates menu links to all existing organisms on the site.

Install

This module should be installed in the modules folder of your Drupal installation (i.e. sites/all/modules). To install the module, run the following.

git clone https://github.com/jwest60/tripal_manage_menus.git

To use the module, you must enable it first. This can be done through the user interface, but the suggested method is to install with drush using the following command.

drush en tripal_manage_menus

This will automatically create a menu link with child menu links to all the organisms that exist on your site.

Links to legacy view by default

The install file links the menu to chado/organism which as mentioned here is for tripal 2. The live site links to organisms instead so let's use that please.

Function names are not namespaced and could clash with other modules

Currently the module has functions names as update_menu_links(), remove_menu_links() etc...

We are gonna need those functions namespaced to guarantee that they won't clash with other functions on the live site causing a fatal error.

to fix, simply add the name of the module at the beginning of every function name. e,g:
instead of update_menu_links it should be tripal_manage_menus_update_menu_links()
