API not working

Hello,

Since 1 or 2 days the API is not working anymore. The GET section method or the GET post method are not loading results for example, it keeps loading indefinitely.

Can you do something to fix that ? Thanks

The paging doesn't work

The paging doesn't work.

If I request this: http://infinigag.k3min.eu/girl
I get this paging ID: axj7z9W
and this URL: http://infinigag.k3min.eu/girl/axj7z9W gives status code 400.

Same for this: http://infinigag.k3min.eu/girl/fresh/azj1d7j

Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

'Hot' section broken.

The 'hot' section appears to have broken recently.

Gifs referenced as pngs

Current version of API is returning gif images as png references. And static gifs are of course not funny at all. So could we please filter these gifs somehow? Or return urls for actual gifs? Or is there any workaround?

Getting all post Id's of one user.

Is there a possibility to get one user's ids of all his posts?

Hello mate,

this might be unrelated, but still worth the ask.
Noticed the functionality in 9gag to post pictures from your mobile phone as comment from the mobile app but not from the web browser? I was wondering if you have come across this functionality while scraping their code and if it is a public API or something "callable" that I can use.

I am looking everywhere if there is an API section for 9gag.com/tv/
To improve my application I am doing.
Do you know if it exist ?

Is it possible to add get information about which section the post was originally posted in? So lets say I scrape the hot page, I want to know from where the post originated e.g funny

First off, I think this is a great API! But I'm experiencing issues with some ids, like:

Sometimes browsing by section only is boring. For some people.

Resource URL "media" & "image" return false

If no image or no media, they we return false
if I use retrofit or Gson, it will return a type error

is it possible change it to return null but not false if no result?

it seems like all vote counts are 0 after the first 10 object.

Hey!

Are you still maintaining infinigag? It seems like a great resource, but right now it's not working.

The first page works, but any pages after that return "data":null:

The same is true for the european server. Would it be possible to fix it?

Missing function

Hey,

I'm not really sure if this is an issue. This is more a request if the following feature could be added: The amount of points the gag has. It'd be great if the API contains this information!

It also would be great if there's some GIF recognition. Something like (under data) "type":{"gif"}" and image.gif ("gif":{"urla.gif"}).
