For the last few days, it has been impossible to join the server.

There is consistently the same two players listed in the ping response:

If you try to join, you'll immediately be disconnected:

This message doesn't show up in the Minecraft client because Minecraft expects a text component for the disconnect message, but the server is sending the disconnect message as raw text for some reason. The actual disconnect message is io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid packet id: 25.

Kaboom permacrash bug?

Spamming /datapack disable vanilla in large quantities seems to be permacrashing the server or causing new connections to time out.
I think it would be worthwhile to either disable datapack completely or re-enable all the datapacks on restart.

The server has been routinely going down for a few days now and it's made it unplayable.

Add GeyserSkinManager plugin

Since you're deciding to use Geyser on the server, I thought it would be nice if Java players could see the skins of Bedrock users.
Install https://github.com/Camotoy/GeyserSkinManager and change "force-show-skins" entry in the plugin's config.yml to true.

[Feature Request] Keep user configuration files on reset

Prefixes for Extras & enabled for CommandSpy would be an example.
Maybe copy the plugin folders out of the server directory and copy them back in after it's done cloning?
Would be a massive quality of life feature too.

I think it would be great to upgrade kaboom to use the latest version of paper which may be better for the server.

/forceload should be removed

bots can spam /forceload to load alot of chunks, causing the server to crash

here's a example on my kaboom clone:

yes, that's right. a single /forceload causes the server to freeze for 11 seconds to load chunks.

/forceload serves no use other than loading chunks - so I feel like it should be removed (instead of just patched to not do this)
