custom mixtapes

being able to have files loop would be nice, maybe have some sort of text file in the song folder that says which songs to loop, almost like some of the files in brsfx?

Not able to replay custom songs

heya! i'm on the latest release of BRR, which is 1.6.0 i believe, and i have a huge playlist of custom songs, but when i finish playing the specific song, i am not able to replay it for some reason. even if i play a song for a short time, play another song, go back to the prev one, i cannot. this dosent occur with base game songs. All the songs i have are in .mp3 format.

Going back to the start of the playlist after changing areas.

When you enter a new area with a game song playing it doesn't change to the first song but continues the playlist where you left off but if it is a custom song playing while changing areas the song will not continue. Instead it will go back to the first mix song.

[Bug] Duplicates on reload

The issue only persists until game reboot.
Running on linux, Using Symlinks to link to the tracks individually.

Volume too low compared to Vanilla + Newer Versions not working for me

I watched a tutorial on how to use one of the old versions, this being 1.2 but somehow the custom songs are very quiet compared to the vanilla songs, I tried to look into it and I have assumed its probably the version that I was using. I decided to get 1.4 and try to test it again but for some reason when I tried to check the music, its just the vanilla ones. I am not sure if I have done it incorrectly or anything, I did what it said step by step and repeated more thoroughly but still to no avail.

I got Bepinex 5.4, I dragged the plugin folder and nothing happened. Did I do something wrong with the steps?

i have no idea what's causing the issue, i installed everything right and my custom songs are in the Songs folder

Music super quiet?

Hello! i recently put some music into the mod folder, but when i played it in-game it was super quiet? wondering if there's a fix or anything, as when i play it normally on my desktop it sounds fine

issue with my music or maybe just me

everytime i launch the game my radio doesnt work, i mean vanilla song does but modded one doesnt and idk why, is it because i didnt pay for it (the game), or because i got other mods, or both? i have tried both putting songs like in their own name or just in folders and nothing, please help, i made an account just for this!

Silence at the end

My songs are in .mp3, there's a lot of silence at the end of each song. It seems to be at least half if not more than the songs length of silence added to each song.

All of the songs were transcoded from various other formats to mp3 using ffmpeg -i "song" "song.mp3"

I'll update if I get around to testing other formats or find any plausible cause

Store cache outside from songs folder

It would be a good idea to store the radio cache outside from the song folder, so that it doesn't pollute it. Maybe in a separate cache folder right next to the song folder, or even inside BepInEx's own cache folder?

Volume?

Any chance a volume option for custom songs could be added? Sometimes songs can be too low and turning up the in game option isn't the best because then the vanilla songs become way louder

Ability to disable base game music?

I was wondering if there was any way there could be a config option that disables the music from the base game so it only plays custom music; I hate to say it but I actually don't like a good chunk of BRC's base music and would rather just put the songs I do like back in as custom tracks and not have to manually change music every time I switch zones etc.

no more than 3 songs

it won't load the 4th song or I tried to see if it was too big but it worked or I tried taking it off and putting it back on and it didn't work
